Get over it; you're going to have to look at Team Rainbo vacation pictures before you get to the skating shots and that's all there is to it. The location of this event makes it the only race I know of that can be called on account of lightning. What with Orlando's sky's penchant for striking people dead the organizers thought better of sending us out in the storms. Of course being Florida, it all blew over in an hour, but by then we had time for only one 13 mile loop. Even at that nobody was sure whether we'd be pulled off the course mid skate or not. We weren't, so there was some good skating to be had. Anyway you look at it we great fun, and I recommend next year's Disney Inline Marathon to racers and rec. skaters alike. |
