ACS Wall and Roll 2006

Sunday, May 21, 2006

WOW! If you look simple at the turnout of clubs and organizations that came out to the Walk and Roll this year you'd have to say that skating is booming in Chicago. Not only was National Skate Patrol there to set up and man/woman the course, Team Rainbo came out to skate, but also our two Roller Derby teams where out en masse, The Windy City Rollers out for their second year and The Chi*Town Sirens made a strong showing.

I believe a good number of Ravers where there as well, however it would be great if many more individual skaters supported this event. Why? Because this is the ONLY missed event in Chicago that officially allows inline skating.

These new signs turned out to be a real work of art. Notice what we had to do with the metal stands to get them in the ground.
