22nd Annual Athens to Atlanta Road Skate

Well another year and another A2A. Though judging by the emails flying around, the organizing committees did one hell of a job pulling off this year’s event. I think I can say, thanks much from all the skaters, you did a great job. The weather was perfect, I love the challenge of a headwind, and the people of Athens as well as Atlanta couldn’t have been nicer.

Friday & Saturday/Race Day

Atlanta welcomes German tourists Nina and Goetz.	All beer leads back to Germany. The colors of the German flag as played by a stout, an ale and a lager.	Bob Harwell, pre-Friday-night skate. Athens welcomes us back, though knowing us, I don't know why they would.	Cale you'd better not do A2A after all. Seems you might have to do a bit of shopping if you did. What do you think Margo?	The bobarazzi, always with enough time to check the voicemail.	Volunteers, couldn't skate without them. Thank you boys and girls for giving of your time.
Speaking of shopping, maybe a pair of off road skates would be the ticket this year. (We have no idea how true that'll become on Sunday.)	Reviewing, maybe weighting the merchandize.	Ah yes, skating with one's purse, an essential fashion accessory for the fall skating season.	Happy shoppers, eh, skaters.

A nice diversion on race night.
