Northshore Inline Marathon 2001

Fun, friends, fatigue and a bit of bruising!!

After an agonizing week of worry, the organizers decided to go ahead with plans to hold the 7th Northshore Inline Marathon. More than three quarters of the approximately 4200 entrants braved the roads and barely operational airways make it into Duluth for the 7:30 am start on Saturday morning. Road warriors Annie, Chris, Tom, and The Bobarazzi piled into a Jeep Friday morning and burned up the asphalt through Wisconsin into Minnesota.
